- Lost 37 kilograms in 7 months
- Have taught software development and design techniques to an array of large companies and government institutions in the U.S. which include NASA.
- Lived in Japan for 7 years and taught myself to speak Japanese
- While living in Japan, I played a role as an Army Major in a documentary film about Commodore Perry when he landed his ship on Okinawa. This documentary was filmed on Okinawa and aired nationwide in Japan on NHK. The film was produced by NHK.
- Served in the United States Marine Corps from 1988 to 1992
- During my tour in the Marine Corps, was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal for Heroic Performance during Desert Storm.
